Qwk.net has been very reliable over the years, although a little pricey, I have left them twice to try to find somewhere cheaper, only to discover how unreliable everyone else is, and came racing back. They are very friendly and helpful, once I was even talking to one of the owners on Christmas Eve when I had a technical problem!

QWK.net is a small hosting service located in Idaho, USA. A part of the country with few severe weather problems. I have hosted multiple sites with them over the years. They give you ftp access and a Parallels based web shell. The e-mail support is pretty good and you can usually get a live tech with the phone in tech support. Although not the cheapest hosting service available I feel I get value for my money on my Mega account and I have hosted with them for five years now.
