terrible terrible terrible.

used to be the best, now tech support is appalling. no tickets get answered, no email responses. the money goes up to cover their "server costs" but I don't know what they're spending it on!!

Used to be an excellent host, with superb technical support. However the service had seriously deteriorated and the Dublin server seems to be down more than it is up. Service Tickets frequently unanswered, what was once an excellent business is going down the toilet fast. Im currently in the process of transferring to a different host.

Poor service, uptime is really bad. Email server espcially the dublin server is constantly in serious trouble. Asked purplecloud to transfer me to one of their other more reliable servers but refused and recommended I transfer to another ISP if i want reliable service. Avoid.

The service has been up and down recently. Support tickets have not been answered. A message received from them today says: "Purple Cloud is being wound down" so it seems they will cease to function altogether soon. However, there is no information about this on their website.

The e-mail server is down again for the third time this month - no response to support tickets and website has no information regarding current status

Generally good - you certainly get what you pay for though and with Purple Cloud you get a lack of support. They're currently down. Their status website shows a lot of red crosses but there's no explanation of what these indicate, or why they are there. Also no indication of when service will resume. Thursday 10th July and the server has gone down again. I have emailed the support but no reply. This is not the first time.

I will say the service has been good in general

The only web-hosting service I've used, so I can't compare it with others, but generally a good service. Occasionally, such as today Sun 16th March, their server was down for several hours, with no announcements as to the reason why. And when their server is down you can't contact support, or get a response by e-mail.
