Started using hostv VPS accounts for my video portal about a year ago, and now I remain enjoyed. The service of highest quality and the support of the best professional level are the things I like this provider for.

The performance of the server my account is placed at is great, never down since the setup. There have been a few issues, but none was guilty, and everything's quickly resolved. Prices are of upper average for the VPS, but it is worth of every dollar.

I've spent the last week struggling with technical support to get a fully functional and reliable VPS running.

First, more than half of the functionality in Virtuozzo Power Panel is non-functional. The attempted use of some of these features caused the VPS to fail multiple times. Tech support had to reinstall the container and advised me to not use many features of the Power Panel.

In attempting to set up a basic firewall using well known software (ufw and shorewall) numerous problems arose. Technical support suggested to migrate the container to another hardware node. The result of the migration was a completely unresponsive VPS which tech support completely failed to detect and had to be reinstalled once again.

Throughout the experience the VPS randomly became unresponsive a total of 3 times and had to be reinstalled roughly 5 or 6 times.

The tech support team was very friendly and quick to initially respond to requests but took several hours and even days to solve even the most basic problems.

This was my first experience with Virtuozzo VPS and I am extremely disappointed. The shared architecture is too limiting, very unreliable and far too prone to failure. Couple that with slow tech support response times and there is just no way I can recommend this service to anyone.

I believe in hostV.com and their team. I have been using them for very long period of time. Theyhave never let me down. They are solid as a rock.

Recently started a site of video shaing service, surely far smaller that youtube, but still Ilike the performance it is hosted with at hostv server.

The loadspeed is high as well as the uptime, the support they give - is top-notch. My good friend has recommended hostv and I think it was correct choise, even despite of willing to pay less at first, I agreed to start dealing with this host, and now I belive I have done well.

I may not be enough long with company to be completely objective, but it seems hostv is making my experience good.

If they continue being that stable I will continue paying this or even higher price for their service.

After waiting another 24 hours, I get nothing reply to my ticket, Then I pm Cirtex if HostV have any new backup can help me get my data, Cirtex just told me that They never have any new backups for their customs, All the craps backup have been recovered, So I just waste another 24 hours with these guys.

And HostV refused to refund the first month of my second year invoice to them, They have promised that as the big crap failure of their vps, they may full refund their custom. But they not refund me the first month, And even the month, my sites also get over full 3 days downtime due to the node 16 failure, almost all my data get lose 16 days later.

Cirtex, HostV only keeping kidding on their forum and here, Now they have deleted the whole thread related this crap vps on their forum.

What's HostV doing is setup a new node after 15 days full downtime, and give their custom a 2 month old crap backup!!!

FRAUD A 12 Day and counting server down with lost unrestorable data no support and a 1 month credit for my problem They cost me thousands of dollars owned by a KID

I STRONGLY suggest you avoid them!!!! They have been down on a node for over 48hrs and everyone on that node is with no web or e-mail and they barely respond to any information requests on this!!!!! RUNAWAY from them!!!!!!

PS - I suggest the editor look into this fiasco for himself before he recommends HostV or he will possibly lose credibility.

After nearly two years of being a client of HostV I finally decided to say thanks by writing a review for this company.

The whole term I am with the host I am thinking I have made a correct choise when decided to get the hosting from them, not only because I pay reasonable money but also because I know that anytime I have problems the professionals from the support center are ready to give their help and most questions are solved very quickly.

I run an eCommerce business, and the reliability is very important for it, and hostv knows it as well, being up all the time, and giving stable fast network for my use.

The accounts are backuped, and the existance of cPanel at VPS makes the work with it really convenent and simple. Upload and download speed is high most of the time, and CPU of the server my site is on, is almost never overloaded, and thus I constantly have a great perfomance of the site and consequently - of all business.

Just excellent VPS provider. I recommend it very much.

I have used several web hosting companies since 1991. My experience with HostV was the awful one I ever had in my life. They do not have an own data center. They use FDCservers.net.

Packet loss, my site was done three times in month. I complainted them and asked formy money refund. They denied it.

I do not recommend to anyone this host by no means.
