I am with vaserv from last one years, its not that they have good support as they have good price!! and I use their Server just for testing purpose, not for critical hosting or anything!!

Why :

I believed, when problems comes, they really don't know what they are doing , example, yesterday 14/12/2009, I realized that, File system was corrupted, I emailed them, Abbbe( one of their admin) reply me back, said, check the server with rootkit hunter. but problem, i cant run any command as it say that, input ouput error, and file system permission is like this "??"

so I told him, i checked my server regularly and its not compromised issue, its looks like some devices is failing.

Then they confirmed me, that yes, there is some problem with file system and they are fixing it. After 5 hours Rus Emailed me and saying they have installed new OS , now they are restoring data from backups!! its been 11 hours , still I am waiting for their email when my service will be up!!!! so till now My server is down for more then 18 hours!! and I dont know when it will be up.

Another issue was : IPtables was not working, so i raised the issue, they said, openVz does not support iptables!! after some hard talk, they fixed the issue after 1 weak!!!

So basically, I dont mind use vaserv as my testing server.but for critical issue I will use some other hosting provider.

FsckVPS is HORRIBLE! They do have excellent prices and they lure in you with that. They almost always have live chat status set to Online, but no one EVER answers. It takes far too long to even answer trouble tickets.

After waiting awhile I went into live chat on one of their sister companies and someone told me to email support at their main company, vaserv. After doing that their owner, Rus, basically yelled at me in a ticket and told me not to email that support desk and to use the correct one for FsckVPS. Maybe he should tell his employees to tell us that!!!!

Overall this company does not know how to maintain business. The servers are HORRIBLY slow and most of the time I couldn't even do anything because SSH was going so slow...And I'm only 13 hops away from server!

I do not recommend going with FsckVPS or any of their sister companies as they are horrible. They wouldn't even give me a refund.
