This company has positively the WORST customer service of any company of any type that I have EVER dealt with. By the time I fired them, support tickets seemed to be ignored until, after two or three days I posted a WTF? comment on the ticket. They recently jacked their price for my package up by FIFTY PERCENT. The cost was okay to begin with (not great but okay) if you ignored their almost complete lack of customer service but I was NOT going to pay fifty percent more for that kind of sorry service. I'm amazed at myself for putting up with them for over two years. All I can say now is GOOD RIDDANCE Surfspeedy.

I've been a customer with Surfspeedy for nearly 4 years. They recently got bought out by Jumpline Inc. Their service was below average before, but after the buy out its plain unacceptable. While transferring my site to the new Jumpline servers, they corrupted my database, replaced my public_html folder with a 2006 backup, meaning every change I made since 2006 was gone, and finally, my site was down for over 2 weeks during this transition. Emailing support almost daily to figure out what the hell was going on, somehow everything was my fault and they had no solutions for me. Support is useless, they always run around the issue and hope either you or the problem goes away. I had 2 more months remaining on my contract with them but moved to a new host immediately. Losing 2 months worth of hosting was the least of my concerns, but it shows you just how ridiculous things were. I hate Surfspeedy, with every fiber of my being. They left a bitter taste in my mouth and I hope to see them/Jumpline fail miserably in the web hosting business. The only thing I can do to make that happen is posting my story. I hope this helps another unsuspecting victim choose another host before they get suckered into this worthless excuse for a hosting company. I hate you Surfspeedy.

Services are ok. Setup time is more than 4 hours. When they are contacted about setup time, they just say to wait.

On October 31th the had a problem with their server, all databases were scrambled so they began a process to restore them. I never received an email from them, I just got phone calls form my clientes and told me they can't open their sites. So I send a ticket and receive an answer like 4 hours later thay are restoring the databases. 12 hours later I see no restoration in my sites, I send a ticket and receive an answer 3 hours later, that they need the names of the databases to restore them!! I look in my files to get that information and send it to SurfSpeedy, and after 48 hours I get no response so I call their 800 number and tell me they are working on it, and they will update the information on my ticket on their website, so I wait 12 hours, check the ticket an their response is: "Hi Carloscar, As checked with our admin, we can't find any sql data anymore for your database. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for contacting our Customer Support. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us, and be sure to give us a detailed description of how we can assist you further. Best Regards, Mike *********** SurfSpeedy Support" And I am like what???? Is that it? This just happened today and I am so mad that I decided to tell everyone about their poor and terrible service, there are so many hosting providers and Surf Speedy needs to get out of bussiness. I'm not going to stay hands crossed, I'm gonna fight for the information they lost.
