I have had a hosting account here for many years. They were never very reponsive to emails but the price was good.

In January 2008 my website was suspended for "non payment" allegedly for six months. I sent the Paypal statements showing my payments to Sales and heard nothing. I opened a support ticket and called the phone number on my Paypal statement. On the phone they told me they had a "billing problem". No kidding! Meanwhile my site was down over a week. Now in July the same thing happened. I sent the Paypal statements, called on the phone and still my site has a "suspended" notice hanging on it for 4 days already and still no response from any of my emails. The phone number now goes to voice mail. That translates into no more than 92% uptime so far this year. If you like that then you'll love BGFweb.

Oh my god - the previous post (from "Tony Dante") could've been written by me - my site was cut off around midnite last night. They sent me a notice that I hadn't paid, but I replied repeatedly that I auto-paid them in June for 6 months via Paypal, and even included the successful charge invoice from Paypal. No replies at all. I've tried writing them at every address and calling every phone number I could find, but they are nowhere to be found.

PS It's somewhat of a relief to see that others are experiencing this.

this morning I woke up to find my site down,after numerous requests to find out what the problem is,i was told i have not paid an invoice.

the fact is I did not get any invoice or notification from bgf web.they had not send me an invoice in the first place?

i have now sent several emails to them to pay this invoice and to get my site up urgently and im still waiting for a reply? it has been 7 hours since i last heard from them.

my advice is to stay well clear of bgf web / assorted internet and global vision,there customer service and support is very poor.

i will let you know if this problem is fixed

but for a customer who has been with them now for 4 years this really is terrible and shocking service which has affected my business.

I was with them for a couple years. They started out inexpensive, with adequate service. Near the end of my stay, the service became really bad. They switched me to a new machine on a new data center without letting me know beforehand, and were clueless and slow about fixing problems that appeared.

Unfortunately, this company was sold to someone else, and they have let the hosting company fall flat on it's face.

I was a long term reseller with them, and when Ben (original owner) was running this company, it was top notch!

I'm really surprised to still see these servers up and running with no one at the wheel. Must be whoever purchased this company has more money than they know what to do with, these servers have got to be costing them a fortune.

I stopped payments to this company many months ago, yet all of my accounts are still active and the sites I have not transfered are still up and running. Go figure.?.?

Anyway, there is no reason to look to this company for any hosting needs whatsoever, as there is no active customer support and your domain/hosting account would never be installed anyway.

I sure wish Ben would not have sold off this company, but he must have had his reasons.

For 3 years we have been with them and the server have been online all the time. Now trouble started and their support web board is full of porno spam.

No moderator is active, in fact I think the company stopped and its only a matter of time that they pull the plug on them.

Also lots of problems with false scripts and no reply from their support what so ever!
