Hosting company CTN1 France down

Hosting company CTN1 in France is down for the third day.Initially it was rumoured to be a server migration to a new data center....well three days would be excessive.

Maybe they could plug one in and update their clients. Just a thought.

The CTN1 blog has released the following statement:

We found the cause of instability in the network CTN1 after a cascade of failure on several routers simultaneously. The new services are accessible.

Technical problems came from the following points:

    * Site of Saint Denis: Card Fiber 8 ports failing, as a slot chassis 6509.

    * Site of Aubervilliers: Fiber Card 8 ports failing, Power Supply No. 1 .

All equipment was replaced and put into production. The situation is deteriorating on the exchange point Panap because we expect an answer back to the session on a new MacAddress. All Traffic is normally shipped by our operators.

The solution was found after reading the various logs and consoles connected at the crash network tonight at 19:30.

We ask you to excuse us for the inconvenience.
