It has been several months since we've last heard much news about ipower. During the past few months it seems their company has been losing an average of 5,000 domains per week with no end in sight. Recently however things seem to have become unexpectedly quiet from the remaining clients.
Are things improving at ipowerweb?
With over 340,000+ domains having been lost since their purchase by Endurance International Group last year -- a total of 50% of their overall domains -- could things be slowly turning around for the company?
While they're now rated as one of the lowest ten providers on our hosting review list the bloodletting seems to have stopped. What are your thoughts, have you used them previously & how were your experiences?

No way are they getting better. Support is non-existent. I have been with them for 3 years with no problems but for the last 4-5 months it has been nothing but issue after unresolved issue. I'm going to 2 months that my message board ahd image hosting scripts do not work.
My resolution is simple -- I'm moving to another host and telling as many people as I can not to host with IPOWERWEB.

Too little, too late. I did get a problem solved today in one phone call. I don't know about customer service email. It took two months to solve a simple problem last September - I would send an email, then a week later I would get a response, which was apparently written by someone who hadn't even read my email - I would send another email, same result. As a reseller, I lost several accounts over their "transition" disaster. I absolutely detest the new reseller control panel. They're so concerned with "security" that they require new passwords almost every time I log in. I say they won't have a problem with security once all their customers are gone. I've got most of mine out of there now and working on getting the rest out.
I've been a customer, then reseller with theirpowerweb since 2003 and found it to be everything I wanted for four years, then everything fell apart a couple of months after their sellout last year.

Nope, they're just getting worse.
I was hosted with them a few years back, but jumped ship before the merger. Some other folks whose sites I helped build are still with them, however. As of right now, one of them has been down for the entire morning (going on 6 hours now) with no word from Ipower on why. And when it is up, it's slow slow slow!
Add to it that I spent all of yesterday clearing out Iframe scripts from his index.html pages that had been hacked... probably from that same kind of compromised servers that hit Ipower before.
I'm doing a little research on new hosts to recommend to those folks... they need to move, and fast.
